DIY Self Iron Badges – Instructions

  1. Remove the plastic backing by peeling from a corner. You should be left with a plastic layer over the front of the badge and a sticky-feeling on the back. The badge itself should not be sticky but will appear slightly glossy and white on the back.
  2. Position the badge on the garment as desired.
  3. Cover the badge with a tea towel or similar protective fabric.
  4. Set a hot iron to 130-140ºC and press firmly onto the badge, applying plenty of pressure.
  5. Hold the iron in place for 5-10 seconds, then remove the tea towel and carefully peel back the plastic.
  6. The badge should now be securely applied to the garment.
  7. Care Instructions: To maintain the badge’s quality, please do not use fabric conditioner or tumble dry the garment once the badge is attached.
