DALE

DIRECTOR | LEVEL 3 REFEREE & FORMER ARMED FORCES MEMBER

The idea for The Ref Stop was born on the pitch when he recognised how difficult it was for referees to access quality kit and equipment. Using his military discipline and drive, he set out to change that—building partnerships with leading brands and establishing The Ref Stop as the UK’s leading supplier for match officials. Today, Dale continues to lead with the same passion and commitment that founded the business, ensuring referees at every level receive the best service, support, and sense of community.

Rachel

Customer Service & Production Lead | Mum of 3 and Wife to Dale & Netball player

The heart of our customer experience, Rachel brings passion, precision, and personality to everything she does. A lifelong supporter of Preston North End, she’s the first to spot new kit trends and loves helping referees look and feel their best. Her favourite kit item is The brand new Puma Nitro 4 trainers, and her top pick for equipment is the brand new Puma Referee Roller bag.

Callum

Head of Print & Design | Level 4 Referee

Callum combines a referee’s eye with a designer’s creativity. A loyal Preston North End fan and Level 4 official, he’s all about making referees stand out — both in style and performance. His favourite kit is Adidas, and his go-to referee essential is Fox 40 Finger grip whistles.

Lyndsay

Partnerships Manager | Mum of 2

With a strong background in partnership building and community engagement, Lyndsay works closely with County FAs and grassroots initiatives to champion referees across the UK. A dedicated Liverpool FC fan, her favourite piece of kit is the brand new Puma Referee shirt in Wild Berry, and she really rates the Ref Stop Book & Card Set on match day.

FARREN

SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING APPRENTICE | LEVEL 7 REFEREE

Currently developing The Ref Stop’s online presence, Farren brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a referee’s perspective to everything he does. Balancing his apprenticeship with his progression as a Level 7 referee. His favourite item is the Puma Kit Bag, and he never heads to a match without his match cards and the Ref Stop Classic Whistle.

MAXINE

CUSTOMER CARE & DISPATCH | DARWIN WOMENS FC CAPTAIN

Leading the charge in customer satisfaction and efficient dispatch, Maxine brings her competitive edge from the pitch into the workplace. As captain of Darwen Women’s FC, she understands the importance of teamwork, reliability, and communication. Her top pick kit item is the Puma mid-layer.

DARREN

ACCOUNT MANAGER | FOOTBALL SCOUT

Darren brings a wealth of football knowledge and business insight to the team. As both a football scout and dedicated account manager, he ensures clubs and organisations receive the best possible service and tailored solutions. His favourite brands are Puma and Joma.

JACK

Account Executive | Level 7 Referee | Football Player & Youth Coach

Jack plays a key role in supporting our clubs through tailored account management and day-to-day relationship building. An active Level 7 referee, he plays for two local football teams and also coaches an U7 team at Penwortham St Teresa’s. Jack brings practical insight into grassroots football and a deep understanding of the needs of match officials and young players alike. His favourite brands are Adidas and Puma.
